Grrowl

You save and save and save those shoe boxes thinking they'll come in handy. Then one day you're scouring the house because you've finally found the perfect use for them, and you remember that you threw them away last month. >:-(

i so feel your pain. can't relate to the shoe boxes specifically but the principal in general of saving and finally ditching stuff only to need it shortly thereafter.

all those extra buttons that come with clothes are my frustration. anway, what were you hoping to do with the shoe boxes???

put cards that I've made at GNO "card nights" in them... I've got them in a big ziploc baggie and the envelopes are getting bent. :( And guess what! I just found a shoebox in my kids' room. The lid is missing, of course. Couldn't just have that with it, right? ;)

LOL... so sorry for your predicament. I'm with Britta... I can relate with throwing something away and then needing it shortly thereafter. Grrr. I'm glad you found one though. No lid? Oh well! At least you have the box.

Been there done that!! I have a friend who was cleaning out her grandmother's house. She found a box with little bits of string in it labled "string, too short to use". There is something to say for dejunking and enjoying a less cluttered house even if we sometimes miss the things we got rid of.

Yup...that always stinks. I run into that alot now that I downsized from a 3 bedroom house to a small 1 bedroom apartment...I always go to use something and realize I threw it out or sold it in the move.
